Tim,
I have been using "The Inspector" software now for
over a year. I started a new inspection division here at Cy Cooper Company
when I retired from the Farmington Fire Department. I researched all of the
available software that was available because the software our company was
using was not user friendly and it was very difficult to add or modify the
questions.
I located "The Inspector" and your website while
searching the internet. I downloaded the demo from your site, and I was sold.
We ordered, received, and began using "The Inspector" with very little
trouble. I called you on several occasions with what turned out to be minor
questions and the support service was exceptional.
When we first started this venture, there were
several companies in the Four Corners Area that were doing (sort of) fire
protection system inspections. The different AHJs were kind enough to let me
look at some of there reports and I was not impressed, Xerox copies with
penciled check marks and a minimal number of comments.
The other companies have slowly faded by the
wayside and the types of systems that we are inspecting seems to be growing
every week. Adding new categories, new questions, and new invoicing
information has been very simple and not time consuming.
"The Inspector" generates a very professional,
complete, and understandable final report that is welcomed by all of the AHJs
we deal with. Our customers also comment on the quality of our report. When we
do an inspection, we use a lap top computer and a portable printer in our
truck. Upon completion of the inspection, we enter the information into the
computer and print a final report. We then hand the report to the customer
before we leave the premises. These features have helped to make our
inspection division a success ( and a small profit) at the end of our first
year.
