We invented the idea of using a PDA for inspections many years ago before our competition was even in business. Its time has come and gone. The technology is obsolete and has been replaced with much more efficient devices. The Inspector is setup to take advantage of these new devices. Therefore, we have removed all PDA support.

The new version (Big Sky) boast a number of new additional features in addition to the already robust previous version including:

• New redesign easier to use user interface. Almost all of the buttons and tabs have been eliminated. All options are available from the standard right click menu.

• All browses have clickable headers to allow you to sort in ascending or descending order for ANY column.

• All browses allow you to choose your font style, color, size, etc. You may optional turn on and off a green bar effect. Similar to the green bar paper that you have seen. However, you may choose which color you would like to use. The green bar effect makes the browses much easier to read.

• All browses have a soft seek filter. You can find any item with just a few key strokes. The soft seek filter can work on any column.

• All browses have a query by example. You simply fill out a short dialog to find specific records. You can then save this query and use it repeatedly.

• Now built into the program is a complete work/repair order solution. You may list each item that is used in a repair/work order including material and labor. You may schedule and perform complete accounts receivable for the work orders.

• All notes are now in RTF format. The RTF format gives you complete word processing formatting capabilities. Including: Bold, highlighting, centering etc. the notes will print in RTF on the final reports.

• You may spell check any field including the notes simply by pushing F10 on your keyboard.

• There is complete voice note capabilities in the program. This was always available in the obsolete PDA however now it is inside The Inspector.

• You may create a sketch or capture a signature. This was always available in the obsolete PDA however now it is inside The Inspector.

• There is a code reference section for each master item. You can add this section into any history or conditions record with one click of the mouse. In addition, to a code reference, you could use this section for a standard rejection.

• A new quick help system had been added. There are small light bulbs in the windows though out the program. The quick help gives you small tid bits of useful information about a particular window or feature.

• After you have filter a browse you can run a report and ONLY get the records that are displayed. In essences you can create a some what customizable report.

• The browses now have print screen capabilities built in. Simply hold down Ctrl Shift P to perform a print screen.

• You may automatically map any client, company or inspection with just one click of a button. Internet connection is required.

• Scheduling has never been simpler. We have eliminated all of the tabs and controls. There is now a simple date range. When combined with the clickable headers, soft seek filter and query by example you can find any combination of schedule events. In addition, once you have just the exact schedule that you desire; the report will only print those items. It is much more efficient, powerful and simpler then ever before.

• Every day there is a new tip displayed. You will learn all of the finer points of the program a little at a time.

• We have included many more multimedia movies. The movies are much more detailed with highlighting and pop up dialog boxes. Learning has never been easier.

• You can now control the size of the images on the final report. You may also control the color of the failed items.

• The final report may now have a custom water mark in the background. The water mark gives your final reports a polished professional look.

• You may now save a report to Adobe® Acrobat PDF. You can email the final reports or letters with a simply click of the mouse. Just highlight a client and click the email button in The Inspector. PDF is an industry standard format. Almost, everyone has the free reader to view your reports already on there computer.

• There are quite a few more reports available. In addition, you can simply push Ctrl Shift P to print screen and browse

• EVERYTHING has been fine tuned and reworked. There has never been a finer inspection solution.
